Welcome to Neptune's Hideaway on Lake Huron

“Leave nothing but footprints, Take nothing but memories, Waste nothing but time.”

Our Cottages

Nestled on eight acres of pristine waterfront property, we have four beautifully appointed two bedroom private cottages. All four cottages are mere steps from the water’s edge with open views to Lake Huron and the sun setting in the western sky.

Three cottages sleep up to four guests each. Our large cottage will accommodate up to six guests – maximum four adults and two children (12 years of age and under). All bedding, towels, and linens are provided.

In a bush and shoreline setting looking out at Lake Huron, our guests appreciate their peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Stroll the shoreline, fish, kayak, or take a walk in the woods. Gentle alvar rock shoreline provides easy access to water and launching kayaks. Relax sitting on our new dock with swim ladder.

Prices from $250/night – $350/night

Sorry, no pets.

At the Centre of the Action

Cozily nestled on the pristine shoreline of Lake Huron, Neptune’s Hideaway is just minutes away from the heart of Tobermory with its wealth of activities, as well as the Tobermory to Manitoulin Island Ferry Service.

Close to the Bruce Trail, and both Cypress Lake and Bruce Peninsula National Parks, you are never far from the action while staying at Neptune’s Hideaway.

After spending a busy day exploring the natural beauty of the Bruce Peninsula, why not spend a quiet and relaxing evening in a private and peaceful setting away from the crowds.

Book Early

Please be aware before you book… We cater to couples, families and respectful small groups of adults only. We are the place to come to enjoy your surroundings and the natural beauty of the Bruce Peninsula.

WE ARE NOT A PARTY PLACE. No outdoor music, no yelling, no screaming, definitely no hooting or hollering, no drugs, and absolutely no rowdy behaviour. If this is what you seek, please look elsewhere.

We respect the beauty of our natural environment and will never consider overcrowding our cottages beyond the capacity of the septic system, or in contravention of fire department occupancy limits.

Our seasons are always busy, so we suggest contacting us early to reserve your cottage in Tobermory’s most unique home-away-from-home setting.
